I have been very lucky and fortunate to represent and sell some wonderful vehicles and appointments.  Below you will find pictures of just a few of these pieces.

As we all know, there any many options to choose from when purchasing an antique.  I would like to thank everyone who chose to buy their carriage, wagon or appointment from me.  I hope the piece exceeded any expectations that you had.

lead_bars_1Appointment: Set of antique lead-bars
Finish: Factory original
Condition: Very good

According to Manual of Coaching by Fairman Rogers, lead-bars are made after one regular pattern, with a main bar that measures 3 ft, 4 inches long, and the single bars that measure 2 ft. 11 inches.

This is a wonderful set of antique harness racks. They are pony size, and in excellent original condition.

Maker: J.W. Fiske. New York

According to Wikipedia, J.W. Fiske & Co. of New York City was the most prominent American manufacturer of decorative cast iron and cast zinc in the second half of the nineteenth century.

The Coaching Club was established in 1875 and consisted of the following members; James Gordon Bennett, Leonard W. Jerome, S. Nicholson Kane, Frederic Bronson, William Jay, Thomas Newbold, William P. Douglas, DeLancey A. Kane, A. Thorndike Rice; its object being to encourage four-in-hand driving in America.

It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is true, how can I accurately describe this beautiful pair of lamps marked Brewster & Co. New York.

We spend so much time and effort finding the correct appointments for our carriages, we often forget about the appointments on sleighs.


bread_wagon_1Vehicle: Freihofer's Bakery & Pie Wagon
Builder: John Guedelhoefer Wagon Co. Indianapolis, Indiana. Built June 1931.
Condition: Factory original

In 1884, Charles Freihofer, the son of German immigrants, opened a bakery establishment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Size: 26 inches tall
Condition: Excellent restored

These antique lamps have wonderful style, and the metal curtains on the side of the lamps, are a style that makes these collectable.
